NHN Academy, an educational institution specializing in information and communication and software talent training, was established and opened in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do for the first time in the country.

NHN Academy, which opened on this day, is an affiliate established in December last year by NHN, a global information and communication company. It was established to directly operate a curriculum that enhances local students’ software capabilities to help local students get a job and to resolve manpower shortages in the IT and SW sectors of local companies.
NHN Academy publicly recruited first-term trainees in December last year. 180 people from all over the country applied for the first open recruitment of trainees, and 59 people, including 25 young people in Ulsan and Gyeongnam, were selected.
The first trainees will complete a six-month course from the 7th, a web service development course and a four-month service planning course.
Gyeongsangnam-do expected that students who completed the curriculum would have a chance to get a job at information and communication and software-related companies, including NHN affiliates.
